Dover-Foxcroft is a town in Piscataquis County, Maine, United States. It is located near the geographic center of the state, approximately halfway between the community of Bangor and the state capital of Augusta. The population of Dover-Foxcroft was 4,213 at the 2010 census. The town is home to Foxcroft Academy, a private preparatory school, and is the gateway to the Sebec Lake region, which is a popular recreational destination for fishing, snowmobiling, and other outdoor activities.
